Blackmore farm is a unique 15th century grade 1 listed manor house built in 1486 by Sir Thomas Tremayle.Guests can stay in one of the three tastefully restored and furnished bedrooms in the main the main house (all central heated) or in the courtyard/ciderpress barn conversions in the grounds close by. Breakfast is taken in the great hall on a 20 feet long oak refrectory table surrounded by english armour and tapesteries.During the winter a log fire roars in the massive sandstone hearth. Blackmore is situated on 10 minutes from the M5 motorway in rolling countryside with views of the Quantock hills and within easy reach Taunton,Exmoor and the Coast. Ian and Ann Dyer will give you a warm welcome.
Brookfield House is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian House situated a short walk to Taunton Town Centre. We are exclusively a non-smoking establishment providing high quality guest accommodation. Our rooms are all en-suite with remote controlled colour TV radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer provided. Evening meals are available but we are not licenced. PLEASE NOTE CHECK IN FROM 15.00hr TO 21:30 unless by prior arrangement. Off road car parking is available and also Free WI-FI internet connection.
